Each year, a new challenge is released with a new set of field challenges to go along with it. This means each year, a new robot is designed and built by the team members of the Evil Purple Sox.

As a team, they collaborate to create new designs and prototypes using the engineering process. Through creative thinking, 3D modelling, and trial and error, the team produces a new robot for the season.
